Go to your Arsenal, select your warframe and click upgrade. Then click 'Actions' pictured below. Now you'll see a menu which allows you to start auto-installing mods. Also, mods aren't very difficult to figure out.Firstly 'drain' and 'drain capacity': The number in the upper left of the card is the 'drain'. Your warframe and weapons have a drain capacity. For example, my warframe currently has 14 capacity. If I equip a 2 drain mod, I have 12 more capacity for other mods.Secondly 'polarity': the symbol next to the drain number is the polarity indicator. There are at least seven of these.

Warframe Mods Guide: Applying, Combining, Fusion, Transmutation, Catalysts, Reactors, and Forma. Warframe actually offers a pretty basic tutorial on how to Mod A into slot B but let’s go over. Oct 25, 2017  Hello. Im new to this game and have a Problem im not able to solve. I hope somebody can help me with this issue. To finish the Quest to travel from Earth to Venus i have to apply 4 MODS to a single Warframe or Weapon. I've chosen Excalibur as my starting Warframe and the MK1-Bo. I also took the Lato and MK1-Braton. Non of the Equiment i choose has more than 2 MOD slots.

Slots also may have polarity. Based on whether the mod matches the slot's polarity, you get the following outcomes: Slot has no polarity: no change to drain of the mod.Slot polarity matches Mod polarity: decreases the drain of the mod.Slot polarity does not match Mod polarity: increases the drain of the mod.So you want to match polarity to be able to equip more mods.Lastly Fusion: When you unlock the mod station in your ship, you can power up mods by spending credits and endo. This is called fusion. Each upgrade to the mod increases its effect and its drain. Keep your warframe's drain capacity in mind when upgrading so you can still fit all the mods that you want.

Hello there, fellow Tenno!I was surfing the internet for information on essential mods for new players, and my results were somewhat of a mixed bag. I am an established player (And by established I only mean I have the tools to get done what I need to on my own and am double-digit ranked, not that I'm actually good at this game), but am looking to get my wife on the path for success. Rifle.Serration.Split Chamber.Fast Hands.Speed TriggerSplit Chamber is in the early stage of the game far from 'essential'. If you directly compare it to ther mods it on the same level as any of the 90% Element mods - and often you can get some bonus DMG from the element when you're using the right element against a cetrain faction. i'm not saying Split Chamber is a bad mod - it's fucking powerfull, but not essential. At the very beginning you dont have many potatoes and formas, so you have to get the most from your reccources, i'm talking about slotefficency and costeffeciency, Split Chamber costs 15 points and does roughly the same as a mod wich 'only' costs 11.

At the beginng your weapons only have 30 points. Maybe one polarity. At the late game 60 points with 7 polarities wich is like 100 points (due to rounding).Almost the same goes for Hell's chamber, considering that it gives +120% and not 90% for the same cost so it is better, and barrel diffusions is just super strong +120% and only costs 11 points. Add Corrosive Projection to Warframe mod listFor rifle, remove Fast Hands, add Hellfire, Cryo Rounds, Stormbringer, Infected Clip, Point Strike, and Vital Sense. For shotgun: remove Tactical Pump, add Chilling Reload (costs less drain, reloads faster, and is found on early Nightmare missions), Blaze, and the 90% elementalsSidearms: Drop Quickdraw and gunslinger, add Pistol Gambit, Target Cracker, and the 90% elementalsMelee: Drop Reach (normal reach doesn't give much benefit) and Reflex Coil (nobody uses channeling). Hell I'd almost say drop Berserker (too hard to get), True Steel, and Organ Shatter (crit melee without blood rush is simply not that reliable) Add the 90% elementals as well as Volcanic Edge and Vicious frost (they are rewards from early spy missions, have less drain than 90%s, and make building elemental combos easier).Overall, while multishot mods are nice I'd hardly call them essential for normal play especially since they're harder to get with normal play. You have a lot of questionable mods included in your 'essentials' list.

Stuff like Physique, reload mods, fire rate mods, and, especially, fucking channeling mods are not essential. Not to mention that multishot mods and nightmare mods are quite rare for newbies, and thus unrealistic for them to acquire. Especially bloody Lethal Torrent, which only comes from the upper reaches of the star chart now. You're also severely underplaying the role of elemental mods. Those are way more important that half of the stuff you're listing. The three Auras I listed are a good range of slot types, and will help newer players survive; if you have better ones, suggest them with reasoning, as the OP advises, please. I'm not trying to say I know everything, but coming out swinging with all of the things I've done wrong in your eyes without adding anything constructive isn't helping.Channeling is something I would argue as worth it, though your profanity is certainly not needed nor welcome. Reload and fire rate mods are essential, as they can help offset the setbacks some of the lower-mastery weapons have while they acquire more weapons and find out what it is they like to play.Lethal Torrent has alerts and drops and can appear on lower level planets as nightmare alerts, and can join public squads to get; I had my Lethal Torrent by MR4. As for elemental mods: I added that the elemental mods are needed, but that newer players likely won't need more than the ones they pick up before finishing Jupiter, and most people can likely agree with me on that for the fact that even there, enemies are still, at best, only level 15-30.

If you have better ones, suggest them with reasoning, as the OP advises, please.Sure, Rejuvenation is the same polarity as Physique but about an order of magnitude better. +18% max HP is less than 1 rank of bloody Vitality.Channeling is something I would argue as worth itYou're a damn fool to be arguing that. Damn near every channeling mod is an utter waste of a slot, especially at lower levels. The only exception is Life Strike, and it's way too rare to be sending newbies after.Reload and fire rate mods are essential, as they can help offset the setbacks some of the lower-mastery weapons have while they acquire more weapons and find out what it is they like to play. There are more than a enough good weapons to see a player through the entire star chart.

Advising players to spend their limited supplies of endo to pump up mods that can be used to sorta bandaid really bad weapons is stupid and wasteful.Lethal Torrent has alerts and drops and can appear on lower level planets as nightmare alerts, and can join public squads to get; I had my Lethal Torrent by MR4.Congrats. You got lucky. Wow best minimap addon.
