The Doppler Effect Witcher 3
Kill 3 opponents in one fight using 3 different methods (swords, bombs, crossbow, Signs, etc.). (1) The King is Dead: 30: Defeat Eredin. The Doppler Effect: 15: Resolve the doppler problem in.
I've gotten a fair ways into the game (well ahead of Novigrad), and I already met the doppler thief ages ago. Saw no particular need to kill him, he was just a doppler subsisting through petty theft, he hadn't killed anybody. Killing him didn't feel like any kind of justice.
I think I just told him to move on, pack up his act and get the ♥♥♥♥ out of town. And now I learn that he's the only doppler in the entire game that I have the chance to kill?So if I do want to complete all of the decoctions, I'm screwed.I've only met two other dopplers. Your buddy Dudu (heh) and the one being executed when you first arrive in Novigrad. It occurred to me that I should be able to harvest DNA from the smouldering corpse of the executed doppler, surely the freaking guards won't care if I saunter past and take a few slices at the remains.?!If anyone knows of any other killable doppler in the game, do me a favour and advise?

Ohh creepy profile pic, eprst:)Well, I take your point. Although a 'good' (meaning effective) witcher kills monsters, I suppose. A 'good' witcher (meaning kind/decent) probably winds up dead. The problem is the game takes great pains to illustrate to you that human beings can be monsters as well, so it gets blurry and you wind up with difficult decisions.

For me some of the best moments in the game are when you go all samurai on a bunch of human scumbags who are like 'plough off witcher, I don't see no monsters here' (and you answer '-I- do')To then slap you in the face with 'haha, if you wanted to satisfy your OCD problem and get ALL the decoctions you shoulda killed everything SUCKAH!' I thought I was going to kill him this time but when he morphed into me, he somehow obtained my sword too. I didn't even realise I was bleeding out it until it was too late.Thin that doesn't sit right about that is the different clothes or, 'costumes' you find at his house.
Wtf does he need those for if he can morph them too? Oxford handbook of infectious diseases and microbiology 2nd edition pdf free. I ended up a notch on my own sword because of that ♥♥♥♥:DHad to respect it though so when I went back with no weapon equipped and put him in checkmate, i let him live. Bummer, Jarvind - I'll make sure to save before the moment I roughly shove my sword deep into their abdomen and grunt softly with the effort of the pleasure-pain of the killing stroke.ah.

That was creepy, right?Anyway, I'll save & kill and report if it's a no loot proposition. You might just have been unlucky?I've noticed with random world kills sometimes the roll is no loot, sometimes poor/average/good, maybe that rule applies generally. I remember when I first wanted emerald dust for those White Orchard sword diagrams, and there's a limited about of wraiths to kill on that map. I kinda did do a load-reload to suss it out, and there was definitely random-ness to it.When I do that quest will report back here if there's a second doppler mutagen available, but I give millard credibility, sounds like they found one (so fingers are crossed). Originally posted by:The second doppler in Skellige's most wanted doesn't drop jack when you kill it. It happened to me, too. Looks like you have to kill the first doppler in Novigrad for the mutagen unless someone else has found a doppler they can confirm drops a mutagen upon snuffing it.
I suppose I could try to shank Dudu, but I'd feel pretty awful about it, and the reward is a lame decoction I'd never use anyway.Last 1/2 sentence says all most potions've little use in TW3 so only clash btw completionist urges and morality here:P I finished without doppler or succubus decoctions and that's fine with my Geralt dude (in 1st playthrough not even leshen one but that quest so ♥♥♥♥ed up. in end I thought why not). in good shades of gray way. Originally posted by:You guys could just use the Debug Console for that mutagen and keep your consciences clear of murdering poor, defenseless dopplers. And that quest, Skellige's Most Wanted, you don't have to fight the troll or the doppler, if you've been a nice little witcher and spared all the succubi, dopplers and trolls you've encountered and helped a godling or two along the way. You just have to fight the werewolf.Btw that werewolf's out of nowhere or was he at last somewhat related to TW1/TW2? Because I didn't remember anything what he was talking about in that quest. Because I didn't remember anything what he was talking about in that quest. His love was killed by another witcher but he blames all witchers for her death and since they've lured Geralt there and believe they've trapped him, he wants Geralt to pay.
