Hello fellow survivors! In this guide you will find bunch of tips, where to begin, what to expect from each faction and more.First of all we all start with engineers but after level 10 you can choose one other faction as your secondary which in fact at this given time is your primary focus. Do not get confused and scared to make that choice. As soon as you hit level 10 go to garage and choose second faction. You can always change it every 24 hours. The key is to l evel them up as fast as you can to at least level 5 (preferably 8) and then go other faction if you want to mix. It will take a lot of time after you hit level 4 with that faction as the experience requirements increase dramatically. Plan ahead and find what you like.

You have plenty of time before you hit level 10 with engineers to see what you like - fast cars with light armor and hit and run, balanced and good armor medium range build, heavy well armored and long range with cannons but often dead in close combat or 1/1 battle. Don't just blindly level up with no clue what to do next. Inspect all factions before you decide. You can view their items and required parts to craft them before selecting the best one for you. That being said lets break down the factions. Basic one is Engineers which you can not leave. You always have them active. Please note there will be another faction available as open beta begins but we do not know much about them, namely Steppenwolfs.

This is of course the latest heavy ammo glitch to be found in Destiny, but this time it is not just for a specific raid or strike but anywhere. Granted the glitch is a tough one to complete, and requires that the player have access to Eidolons Ally which you need level. Go grind out the scourge of winter mission if u have a ghost with either seeds. Keep killing draksis and yourself. Tons of ether seeds drop and u get tons of glimmer with your ghost. Go trade those seeds with variks for tons of heavy ammo and use them to level up your faction. U can also u 3oC to snag a few exotics while u exploit that mission as well. It is no surprise to anyone how strong the Axis factions are towards their counterparts. It is like if the game developers were simply Axis lovers, starting with Veterancy, Axis units get better combat effectiveness since their first level up, in contrast to the useless 'buffs' their enemies get on V1.

Lets break down known factions for your better understanding.Lunatics - fast. Light vehicles with great speed and maneuverability but very light armor. If built incorrectly, you can die even in 1 heavy (purple) cannon hit.

As you will notice, most of their parts involve close combat almost face to face. Shotguns, explosive spears, chainsaws and spam of gazillion unguided rockets. They focus on hit and run and are capable of delivering massive spike of damage with their shotguns and missiles as well as melee weapons.

However solo, you might have an issue. Good to have party of at least 2 and move behind enemy or at least on the side and deal that monster damage and run. Repeat as necessary. You rely on speed as your protection and deal with kinda 'glass cannon' strategy. Don't ever berserk an enemy and charge him with this class.

Again, speed and maneuverability is you protection and life. If you mix this faction with another down the road, it is kinda VERY deadly. However it will take months before you get 2 factions high enough and have the equipment you need.

At least 2 months since market will have high prices for materials and you have limit to how many resources you collect every week. However their GAS GENERATOR and PURPLE ENGINE are simply godly items.

The best in the game as it stands for now.Nomads - ultimate balance and my favorite. Relatively fast or almost as fast as Lunatics (if build properly) but well armored or armored enough to charge even 2 enemies solo unless their arsenal is 1 tier higher than yours. You will fell the hits vs 2 but most of the time you survive if you aim properly.

They do not focus on neither melee no close combat using shotguns. They focus on precision, focused fire and is mainly a machine gun, mini-gun and auto cannon oriented. Forget auto cannons.

They have too high power score, energy drain and too low of an impact (damage) to be considered viable in the current state. Machine guns however, this is what you will start with joining Crossout open beta, so see how you like them. Precision shots, never hold mouse button.

Control your bursts and you will dominate majority of players. Focus on the part you want to destroy. Namely - WEAPONS! Only shotguns are better than machine guns at destroying weapons, BUT you have to be 'in the face', while you can 'snipe them' off with machine guns from easy 300-400 meters away. Same comes to wheels. You can just shoot them off in 2 seconds of focused bursts. In my opinion it is the best starting faction for new players because crafting Vector machine gun is very easy.

You start the game with half what is required to craft one!!! Also it is a very powerful weapon unlike what other factions offer in first (blue) tier of craft able items.Scavengers - slowest of them all but not turtle speed aka 'stationary' tank.

They are just slower. However no one beats their armor. This class focuses on cannons as primary weapons and guided missiles on high tiers to craft (expensive). Scavengers ARE powerful and hard hitting but very vulnerable to fast moving units who always get out of cone/firing angle of their cannons. YES this is the problem. Only two cannons are rotary on a 'turret' base.

Other cannons are 30 degree cone or rotation - 15 each way. Do not think 'oh this faction sucks'.

How many heavy ammo to level up faction mod

Far the opposite. They are considered very good by many if built properly but preferably mixed with another faction to make up for speed (Nomads supplement them just perfectly). Scavengers also drop turrets (if you build them that is, not just a default skill). In summary skilled hands and tactical mind will dominate battlefield while others just rage and Alt + F4. Scavengers weapons have limited ammo.

Think before you shoot, build ammo crate for extra shells/rockets and snipe the enemy. Ballistic weapons with ballistic trajectory so learn how to shoot. Travel distance and time and angle. Very hard at first. Deadly later with sadistic and maniacal laughter behind big BOOOOOOOM and half of the enemy parts in the impact zone just fell off heheheh.

Area damage. The next point will be on survival. You cabin is you life. Everything else can be intact but if your cabin is blown, there is no operator/driver/YOU.

Add armor (anything structure wise/part wise) to protect it. Try to place it in the middle of your chassis.

Balance the armor on each side, front and rear. Sides are less important than front followed by rear. Place your weapons correctly and not too close to each other. Always test drive new build you have and see if your angle of fire is correct and weapons do not collide with any parts or each other.

Try to install 4 steering wheels and have 6 wheels in total. In case you run 4 wheel vehicle, you will see what happens when you loose 1 wheel. Skip heavy tracks if you can. Tracks are slow even with engine unless you can afford V8. Even then wheels are better - 6 of them.

I repeat 6 minimum and with time 8 when you have enough engine power to make up for speed loss. Speed is you life.

The next point is to stick together. NEVER go alone unless you go to capture the enemy base and there is like no one left on enemy team or they are far far away while your team dominates the field. Trust me - you will die horrible death. If you happen to play with mostly bots (low engineers level) stay with them and stay behind. Bots tend to attack the closes enemy first and focus on him. You will die.

Work with your team. Survive. The more parts and weapons you install on your vehicle increase you power score. Power score determines who you face player wise. The higher the score the better the players. For all the new players I recommend to keep it UNDER 3500 or we - experienced closed beta or even alpha players - will annihilate you. Regardless majority of experienced players will run low power score (PS) just to stock up on crafting mats and parts fast. Expect some games to end really fast.

When you craft a lot of blue tier items, don't just slam them all on the car and press 'battle'. Slowly please. Check how much stronger the opponents get with each item you equip. Plan your builds and uses in different modes. This game will reward you if you play smart and have a plan. It will penalize you however (big time) if you have no clue what you want and what you are doing. And this is my 101 basic basics for new players.

If you have any questions, feel free to start the topic or post it here. I am sure me and Crossout community will be more than happy to help. I know I will.

This game deserves to be heard of as the best vehicular combat to the date.P.S. I will be killing this game till weekend so my responses my suffer slight delay. Also I work full timeEdited June 2, 2017 by LtButcherlunatic engine name was changed. One huge mistake also i've noticed new players doing is getting their vehicle power score up to as high as 6000 in cb. But they are running white weapons like 4 white shotguns. Cause they build strictly for armor.

Problem with that is it puts them against players who are only running purple or better weapons. I think if your running white weapons you need to try and keep your ps below 2200. This will keep you from fighting against weapons that will 1 shot you for the most part and allow you to do decent damage with your weapons. One thing ive noticed on newer players, they often stick to one faction (and its parts)and while this is okay, it limits thier versatility.mix and match. Unlock atleast the basic rare weapons for all the factions to give yourself some good options for battles.example turrets(scavengers) + buggy cabin(lunatics) + attack drone (lunatics) = a good manueverable area denial buildWell noted my friend. Thank you for your input. It is very important for new players to spread yet not too thinly among 2 factions.

Ammo

Like I have mentioned in my guide above, get 'main' faction to at least 5 (preferably 8 at time) but please do explore other ones as you will need that shotgun or cabin sooner than later. However plan your speeding and count your parts for crafting as well as storage space which is limited. Mix the build a bit because one faction's items alone wont take you all the way to the top. Far the opposite - you will be stuck constantly in the middle and wont be able to move on at certain point.

And at one point it might be quite late to make up for the loss and damage you suffered. Thanks for the Guide.thumps up.My pleasure friend. I am always willing to help. To protect and serve is my motto (police department) therefore I serve to the best of my ability. Keep the thumbs up and ask for more in the upcoming days.

Me and the others are here to help and make this awesome game grow beyond control. Trust me, devs wont be able to keep up soon enough.

I am working on more detailed guide but need the insight of the players on what they look for in particular. I can pull some guys and we can make this guide help all. This one is just 101 for players who never ever touched Crossout.

I've been playing for several hours and still didn't even get from level 5 to 6 (actually pretty far from that). Just the idea of levelling engineers to 10 seems completely surreal, and you're talking about levelling others to 8.

Lol.I'd like to see video of some experienced player on low levels. Everyone seems to dodge me without problems and kills me in one burst, while I can't even position myself correctly (and I can't even hit anyone with the stupid blades I mounted to the front of my car).Edited May 30, 2017 by WalrusInAnus. Focus on changing your build around and find what works better. Try not to charge enemy and forget the blades or any melee weapon having just level 5, no good items for decent armor, probably basic cabin and no blue weapons. Keep medium to long range and use machine guns. Move in group and try to always have someone in front of you. It's best way to survive.

Move constantly and don't be afraid to run back a bit of you must. Never think 'I can kill him' with such low level of items.

I probably won't reply for some time.Well, I figured since most people are probably around the same level AND they can instakill me if they ram into me, the blades should work. But for some reason they don't. Even when I manage to catch someone with them, nothing happens.I'd like to change my build, but I have virtually no parts to choose from, and I don't get f.ck all from missions. Where are people getting all the stuff they customize cars with? Nearly everyone I've seen so far as almost fully customized car.I'm thinking about buying oine of those packs because this game is clearly pay to win model. My pleasure friend. Being completly new and with the wiki being either empty (gamepedia) or severly outdated (wikia) this would be most helpful.Of course, the basic concept is clear, but I think about something like:Lunatics - Useful items every player can use: EngineAlso would be very interested in seing info about the Steppenwolves, although I of course understand that due to them being new little info is available even for veteran players. Allrgiht RajRocket, im not sure your just feeling abit moody today (cause your normally nice on other posts), but my purpose of posting here was incase some players wanted a shorter version of this, and I just encourage general combat improvment, and I dont want new players dreaming about the cannon to find out its no good, ok? DO YOU UN-DER-STA-ND ME? Alright good, also I like your pick, did you make it yourself? (ACTUAL QUESTION)Seems like you are having a bad day. Please focus on the topic or create another if you want to criticize other guides. I understand you are unhappy with it but you are more than experienced player.

How Many Heavy Ammo To Level Up Faction 2

I am not you so let me say something about your guide: epic! Now I highly recommend all new players to check it out. Perfectly complements mine and adds ton more of information I omitted of chose not to write about. Both of our guides should be merged into one as a 101 guide.

Besides that, this guide focuses on the basics and yes new players will have hard time with white cannons at first so I encourage them to try different options until the are comfortable with high tier BOOOOM sticks. Please do not post here if you do not add anything creative and beneficial to the community. Focus on the topic instead of ranting and yes I have Dengar in mind.

I will see you in court! No but srsly, the onyl reason im responding is because my computer is broke and im using a laptop, im just incredibly bored, and im going through new egg now to find new wires, and new power scource, and even a new fan (I think the soda burnt out one of my fans to)Hehe sorry to hear that friend. I suffered too just recently when my power supply burnt my cpu mobo and hard drives. Good luck with repairs but please let's focus on the main topic and keep it on point.
